Standing Together Against Injustice!

First and foremost, I want to express that I, DaVona Pacley, unequivocally denounce the genocide currently taking place in Palestine! I have been closely following this conflict, as well as others in the Central African Republic, Somalia, Ukraine, Yemen, and even within the United States.

As a concerned human being, community advocate, and doula, I feel deeply compelled to stand with community members, leaders, and fellow doulas in calling for the freedom of Palestine and the Congo. The atrocities being committed against these populations are an affront to human rights and dignity, and it is our collective responsibility to speak out against these injustices.

Many of us in the United States and around the world are witnessing the devastating impact of war on innocent civilians. The images and stories emerging from these conflict zones are heartbreaking and serve as a stark reminder of the urgent need for action. It is clear that the Palestinian people are facing imminent danger and persecution in their own homeland.

We must take the time to learn how we can support children, women,  men, nonbinary people, LGBTQIA+, birthing people, and families facing genocide in Gaza, Palestine. This support can take many forms, from raising awareness and educating others about the situation to advocating for policy changes and providing direct aid. Our collective efforts can make a difference in the lives of those who are suffering.

Let us unite in solidarity with the oppressed and work towards a future where peace, justice, and freedom are not just aspirations, but realities FOR ALL PEOPLE! POWER TO THE PEOPLE!
